Why I Built TAM Acceleration

I was born on a small island in Sardinia—an island within an island in the Mediterranean Sea. Beautiful place, but completely isolated from the business world. No one spoke about entrepreneurship. Not one person. So I left.

I traveled to 48 countries, desperate to learn what I couldn't at home. Met extraordinary people: entrepreneurs, diplomats, graduates from incredible universities. And I tried everything. Airbnb arbitrage. Dropshipping. Nutritional startups. Every single one failed. But the failures taught me something crucial: it was never the product that killed these businesses. It was always the same thing—business development. Sales. Every time. Once a company solved selling, they could thrive. When they couldn't, they died.

This pattern obsessed me. So I joined Amazon's B2B business development team to understand it better. Then agencies. Then became a startup mentor.
